Hello, I’m Dakyo, a professional makeup artist with 15 years of experience in the K-beauty industry.

I currently run Dakyo Cheongdam and Dakyo Cheongdam Headquarters, two established beauty salons in Korea with more than 7,000 customer reviews. Over the years, I have created makeup looks for numerous influencers, creators, and public figures, including Park Hee-sun, a cast member of Netflix’s Single’s Inferno 5.

My work extends beyond the salon. I have collaborated with leading Korean K-beauty brands through product development and consulting, and I have also led beauty lectures and makeup demonstrations in Japan.

I believe makeup is a form of fashion. You can choose what suits you, depending on the circumstances and moods of the day. We all have that right, don't we? However, because makeup is not just a matter of taste like fashion, it requires some "technique or expertise," so many people usually wear similar makeup every day. I hope it will also be a means for everyone to express their individuality. There are so many colors and textures in this world, and they will help us discover another side of us.
